Ok guys I was wondering wat you guys think about cloning a plant that is alredy in flowering... There about 5 weeks old from seed and have been under a 12/12 cycle for 8 days now... just went thro the garden and removed males 6 out of the 12 were male 2 were female and 4 are still taking there sweet ass time... So i was just wondering your guys oppinion on the subject... If i was to clone would i be able to throw them in with my girls after they have established a root system or would it be better to veg for a while? so let me know what you guys have done and wat you think would be the best way to do it or not at all thx in advance...

its always better to veg so the plants can get a good root system established. i dont clone from a flowering plant due to the fact that they need to go back into veg which can cause stress. stress=hermies. hermies=frustration

I'm actually doing this same experiment.I clipped some clones form a plant 3 weeks into flower. They are currently rooting under 12/12 as we speak. 1 of them is already showing roots. I'm just going to keep the clones at 12/12 and see how they turn out. Just an experiment.

Thx guys... lol i decided not to clone this time around because the plants i was waiting for turned out to be females so now i have enough no need for clones this time around...

FYI Cloning from flowering plant is fine, same procedures as normal. Will take 10-14 days to switch back to veg then ya good to go. I always do it to keep hold of good genetics.

I read a thread about "monster cropping" that talks about cutting clones at 21 days into flowering, the clones are said to produce 30%-40% higher yield. This is a great way to test the theory. But ya re-veg for sure! They also mentioned a abnormal leaf formation shortly after the re-veg simailar to cotyledons. Read the thread in (advanced hort.) section. Good luck!
