Hey everyone, I thought that i would make this post so that everyone can understand how EASY cloning a marijuana plant. I have made 3 clones, all of which lived and rooted and are thriving.
First clone - cloned during veg. I cut my plant which was 7 nodes tall just above the second node.
Second set clones - Trimmed two low branches from my plant which had been flowering for just over a week
This is what i did:
Tools:
- plastic container
- tap water that has settled over 24 hours
- scissors
- soil
- small pot
Method:
- I cut the the branch off. immediately i placed the stem end which i cut into the water. Water in container was approximately one inch deep. I leaned the new branch against the edge so that it was upright. Immediately place underlight. Wait between 24-48 hours but maintain water level. After the plant has soaked up some water and nutrients to survive you can place it in a pot with soil. Fill soil into pot and thoroughly moisten the soil. Stick a pencil in the middle approximately 1.5 inches deep into the soil and remove. Immediately after removing the branch from the water place it into the new hole. For the next week, just make sure the soil is very damp.
AND VOILA!!!!
no need for cloning gel, or anything that costs money. Simple, effective, and it works.
