Clones taking too long after transplant?

Hi there forum,

First time I have taken cuttings, I had made a post before about them but anyways they turned out pretty successful for the most part. I left them 3 weeks to root and bit by bit they started to come through 1 at a time. By the time i transplanted, I had about 8 that rooted and 3 that still didn't but I transferred them all anyway.

So now they have been in their new pots for about a week now transplanted in coco coir mixed with perlite and whilst i see a little growth on 1 or 2, its very subtle like seedlings I guess in their beginning stages. Most of the others don't even look like they have changed :S

I have plants in a flower room which are now about 5 weeks in. I was hoping that these clones would grow up and be ready within the next 4 weeks or so but everything is going painfully slow and they look like they are really struggling to take off properly :S

Those are tiny! And the lower leaves look fried???
It will take a while for roots to grow, then you'll see it take off on top.

I was told the bottom leaves would "fry" anyway because the clones steal the nutrients from the bottom leaves in order to create roots and promote new growth....

As you can see here when they were cloning.... some did have a solid root foundation....

So i should give them a blast of nutrients? I did give them a light solution when they were first transplanted but I don't want to feed them too heavy with how delicate they are right now....

Nice roots!
Looks like you left them in the rapid rooters a while. They don't have to fade, but they will if you don't give them any foliar feeding.
One of my favorites is 'floralicious plus' by GH. Kind of pricey, but a couple of drops in a liter of water is all it takes. I'll snap some pics of clones that have been in half gallon pots for a couple of weeks.

That was 1 of the better ones. not all of them rooted. I had about 8 pull through with 3 that still didn't root but i transferred anyway. some only had 1 or 2 roots showing when i transplanted too but i had about 3 like that with really vigorous roots and it was time to transplant. but why such slow growth? I am hoping they take off and start making big fan leaves within the next week or so but it has been very very slow :S

Looks like you transplanted them a little early. Transplanting stresses plants out so you want them to have good root growth and be healthy before you do.

XD yeah I guess but I'd already waited 3 weeks and was hoping to get them grown up by the time my flowering plants finish lol. They took a very long time to root as it was, I didn't have a heating mat or anything and it was my first try at cloning. After i saw that 8 pulled through i figured I waited enough time already lol

These clones have been in half gallon pots for almost 3 weeks.

What was your cloning process? Did you use a cloning liquid/gel, what did you clone them in and what were the environmental conditions the clones were kept in?
