Clones not looking good. Help!

This is my first grow and I started with 4 plants, the other three were males,so I decided to clone the one female. I got the clones from the bottom four branches I soaked them overnight in a one drop per gallon superthrive solution. The next day I took a sterile razor and made a 45 degree cut on the stem leaving two sets of leaves up top I cut the stem down the middle of stem and scored the stem also cut all leaves in half well I then put them in jiffy cubes made a humidity dome out of tupperware put the tray in a refrigerator thats not running of course and got my humidifier turned on for a few hours and the next day one wasn't looking so hot kinda wilted, but it came back, however the tips were kinda brownish. Today they all are not looking good they are wilting and turning brown look like they are drying out. I have them outside now trying to give them fresh air. I have been misting them with one drop a gallon superthrive poured that out got regular tap water. Sorry so long.

Okay, I think I'm reading this right. You left them to soak over night? Can I ask why? With cloning, you want to do it quick to make sure you do not get air in the stem. Did you use any cloning gel or powder?

The process should be to take your clone. You want to have just a few leaves on it three to keep and about two to cut off. When you cut it off the plant, it should go straight into water to stop air frim getting inside. Make sure your jiffy cubes are ready. Mix up nutrient solution and use that to soak the jiffy cubes. While under water you use your razor blade to remove the bottom two leaves, just under here is where your roots will start to grow. Do not cut all the leaves in half. Do not cut the stem in half, just keep it simple for now. Once the leaves are off, still under water, cut the stem at the 45 about 1/4" bellow where the leaves were. dip the stem into the rooting gel and put into the jiffy cube. Placeinto the humidity tray and put under lights. Mist them every day about the middle of the light cycle. You want them dry when the lights go off. In about 10 - 14 days you should notice the roots coming through.

That is just a quick run through, good luck.

youtube...Mr Green Grows #6. Covers it in the most basic fashion. I'm not exactly sure where in the video, but he talks about cloneing and shows you the universally excepted process.

I guess technically you could've done it more wrong, but it would be difficult :joint:.

Don't soak them overnight in a superthrive solution, get rooting gel or powder (whichever you prefer) and just dunk them in there and put them in the cubes. Cover the tray with a dome for humidity, spray it all with a little mist of water. Put a CFL over the tray and you are good to go. All this extra waiting, and cutting, and "scoring" you just massacred your plant at random, THEN asked questions?

Anyway, Mr. Green Grows #6
