So I noticed pistil last week :/ they havent even been topped yet and most of them are about a foot tall. With no training or structuring the yield will probably suck this year. So do i still have time to top since it was just barely the solstice? The plants went under some stress since the guy i got them from didn't take amazing care of them, and they are just starting to look happy and healthy now in the ground.
Now im at a point where i would have wanted to top them normally, but am unable to since the flowering has started? Is it still worth trimming the garbage base stems, and topping and seeing what happens because if they go full flower I won't get much of anything anyways.
I figure since its only the middle of summer they have lots of time still to get more developed, I live near the New England Canadian border for reference.
