Clones are females?

If you take a clone from a male plant it won't be female.
Standard seeds can become a selfing plant also - Fem'd seeds seem to do that a bit more often but if you grow infrequently and have to "get them up & getem down" in the shortest amount of time then they serve their purpose.
If you take a clone off of a female plant then it is a female . . . 100% of the time.

its a hermie if it grows male flowers (bananas), when you check the nodes and all that and see male and female organs you can tell that its a hermie.
DD is correct. But sometimes a Hermie plant can be somewhat sneaky, once in the flower room you are confident you have only girls and all the sudden one will throw a couples male flowers. They are very easy to miss when plants are grown close together. Not the end of the world though - you end up with a couple seeds thus assuring your lady of her genetics going forward.

how does nirvana feminize their seeds? I've never bought from them or anything but have heard both good and bad. I'd look up a guy named speedy seedz(or maybe speedy seedz, or something like that) and ask for his rollitup member discount. I've never gone through him either but everything ive seen about him has been positive. You can try haggling with him and get the best deal possible. if you tell him your undecided about where to buy from he'll probally undercut the competitors price and toss in a few bonus seeds on the side.

Yes feminized seeds exist & yes if you clone from a female her clones will be female. As far as seed banks go I have only dealt with two that the majority say they get their seeds from. Nirvana & Attitude & I'm a customer for life !! Both of those seed banks keep me happy !! I picked up a high times mag not to long ago for goofs & sure enough there was Attitudes ad page.

Yes Gat, My Ak48 seeds from Nirvana all became females. No bullshit !! I was very skeptic & since I'm an old timer over 40 & considered to be a man from the backwoods I thought fem was bs but seriously it's true. They really are feminized seeds, I'm amazed at the science. Kudos to seedbanks

depending on how you make them and what you consider feminized they are actually not that difficult to make, If you have 2 female plants you make 1 turn hermie and save her pollen and then grab the other one and knock her up. the seeds will all be female or hermie(not as in all will be female or all will hermie). the other method is more difficult though, but its not too hard either. you take a bunch of females and give them an hour of light during the dark period for a few weeks until you find a true female(a female that can not hermie) then use colidial silver to make it grow balls and use that pollen.
