cloneing

dose some on know the right way to clone?
because my coles are about a week old and the leaves are starting to turn yellow and i don see no signs of any roots comeing out or nothing..?
this si what i did i cutted coles then right away i put them into water then 20 mins later i diped it into rooting hormone then i put them back into water is that the right way?

1. gather supplies. plant. bowl of water. clean razor blade. rooting hormone. medium, rockwool, peat pod, soil, water, your choice. i like rockwool cubes..

2. cut clones, i like to cut lower branches, they root easily, and wouldnt produce lots of bud anyway. strip away all but a few leaves and new growth. put cutting in water to prevent air entering the stem. or right into rooting hormone and into medium. i like to scrape my stem just a bit to stimulate root growth, splitting the stem is another method of getting more area to root.

3. make sure its in securely. and put it in some humidity dome. or sprits it a several times a day with water.

it gets easier as you go.
