That is natural because in the clone phase it is receiving little or no nutrients therefore causes a nitrogen deficiency. If you had a picture or knew exactly how old it was then I could let you know if it is cool to start with a nutrient program.
the plant that i got it from was 3 months old and the clone was taken from he plant aprx. 8-9 days ago. does the yellow leaves mean it's going to die? any thing organic i could give it to help correct the yellowing leaves? a tea that i can spray on it or something in spray form?
I wouldn't worry. My clones almost always start to turn a little yellow about three days before I can see that they have plenty of roots and need to be repotted.
Yeah what medgrower is saying... It can be somewhat of a good sign showing that you have roots developed and the plant is about to need some nutes At least from my experience.
