Ive been having trouble with my clone success rate lately and Im not sure whats causing it. The first few sets of clones went in fine and rooted in about two weeks. The subsequent sets of clones did not wilt at first, but the bark on the stems that are in the bucket get slimy, Id say rot, but it doesnt smell. The roots never form and the clone eventually dies.
My pH is around 5.7 and I use about 5mL per gal of Clonex. Ive run the clone bucket on fresh water for a while and that didnt help. My timer is on 15 min and off 15 min. And the room temp and humidity have been staying within acceptable ranges.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
