clipping?

what up guys. My plants are about 3 weeks old. my friend was telling me a while back that after the 3rd or 4th set of nodes i should cut the stem to make the plant grow bushier instead of just one straight up stem. does this work? will i hurt my plant? where should i cut it? helpppp

yes it will make it start to branch early, but it will stunt growth and hurt your total yield, don't do it, topping plants is an indoor practice, and given enough time your plant will bush out on its own.
