OK I just wanted to make this thread because I'm tired of seeing new growers get wrong info about nutes. feel free to be a troll and hate but this is coming from years of gardening and about 2 years of growing cannabis.
All nutrients act the same
If your feeding "cannabis nutrients" that are 0-6-5 and not noticing an increase in bud growth that's because you probably got conned into buying the so called "cannabis nutrients" they say its better for your plant in a way it could be but what if your growing a 6ft plant that has been topped bent etc now you probably have a pretty big plant on your hands and the 0-6-5 nutes are not going to do much for your plant. now id you go to a store like wal-mart you have probably seen miracle gro and other garden nutrients that have something like 18-24-16 that may seem incredibly high, you will notice a slight burn in your leaves but that's completely normal your plant isn't used to high levels yet. after about the 3rd feeding you will notice your plant getting nice leaf color and an increase in bud growth.. but I should also mention that you shouldn't be feeding as much as you would with the small nutrients. you only want to feed every second week. that's because the nutrients will have lasted alot longer.
I'm also not completely dissing the cannabis nutrients they have their purpose they are great if your growing small 1-2ft plants I have seen great bud production on my auto flowers they are also great for starting your young plants if my plants are only 2 weeks old I will feed the small nutes. both nutrients have their place in growing. don't be afraid to try different nutes. they all give the same but just on different levels find what works for you, for me it's miracle gro rose food. it works through veg and flower. I also like using Humboldt nutes for my auto flowers and seedlings. I was tired of seeing people get wrong info about nutrients they all do the same thing just with different strengths. Happy growing everyone!
