whats goin on RIU? finally got my beans in, 20 mixed short stuff automatic seeds and super pumped to get going after months of silently observing. now i've read that city water isnt good for the ladies because of the high chlorine content and other nonesense lol so i was wondering if my brita will filter the water enough to be used on the plants, im trying to avoid bottled water as it will be expensive so any advice would be much appreciated.
also what methods do you used to ensure your germinating seeds are warm?
Thanks!

I set my water out for 24 hours, and add 'Stress Coat' too .. You an get it at walmart or any pet store. It's used for fish tanks to eliminate chlorine..

It works for me..

Good Luck..!

the brita adds stuff back into the filtered water that's not good for plants.at least mine does. Just let it stand for 24hr. The warmer the water is the faster the chlorine goes awayI wouldn't drink the shit water out of the river by my house but the plants don't mind it at all. You can call your local water works and find out what's in your drinking water. Then go from there.

If it's ok for fish. It should be ok for plants, But not really needed. Health dept. says chlorine. ! cap in one gallon is all but gone in two hours. A cap of bleach per gal of water is way stronger then anything from tap water..
