Chronic Reputation?

I live in Seattle, and I have friends from Cali, Florida, all over the east coast and Canada, and they all say Washington has nothing but chronic, and "dirt" simply doesnt exist here, and that its a "known" fact that we have some of the best bud. Now me living here all my life doesnt know anything other than the weed we have here so I dont know. Has anyone else heard of us or what? If this is true, why is it so? We have a lot of rain and lots of sun during the summer, but dont most people grow indoors? So i dont get how we can be judged as having chronic.

Aint never been to Washington but I love the bud Cali has to offer and need not seek anywhere else.
