choosing a new strain for next years grow cold climate early finisher, heigh yeilder.

timewarp has been recomended for my grow next year. what sort of per plant yield can i expext given proper care, nutes, watering and sun???

like for instance here in the south im hoping to plant my stuff in early april but if the weather won't cooperate late april for sure.

Hey I was about to start a similar thread, but I saw this one so I figured I'd just jump in. I'm looking for early finishers too. Not so much because of cold climate, but because we generally have rainy fall weather and I had some mold issues this past year. I'm looking for strains that finish around the first week of October. I was checking out Timewarp, (I think I saw your other thread actually) but I think that only comes in regular seeds. I'm looking to do feminized since I really don't have the room to start mothers for clones, although that's how I'd prefer to do it if I could. I didn't have any trouble with feminized strains this past year, except I think the results would be much more uniform doing clones. Any suggestions?

Nirvana-Aurora Indica (on the fence about going with Nirvana, although I hear this is one of their best strains)

Has anyone ever grown anything from Female Seeds? They have three strains I'm looking into. Maroc, Purple Power, and Easy Sativa, but I'm not familiar with the quality of this seedbank, so I'm not sure. I'm also going to grow Ceres Purple again since it turned out awesome for me this year and finished the last week of Sept. Thinking about trying out their Orange Bud as well.

Not familiar with Mandala Seeds, but I was checking it out on Attitude and I don't see Krystalica. Mandala #1 looks pretty good though.

ur canadian and your not thinking about the best thing to come outta your country since ice??? haha, PURPLE PINEBERRY!!! earlyyy, triched, hearty... i had an infection of spider mites this year, it seemed like the plant killed em before i could, and scoffed at a round of powdery mildew that took hold of two amazing lavander haze plants that i had... clones are expensive but you may be able to find some out there...

I am just south of you in nw washington my fav strained in alaskin thunderfuck or northern lights. I am going to throw some sweet purples in next year hear they grow up to 8 feet and yeild nice purple buds. it is also mold resistant and short seson will harvest end of sep with all of these strains. gl keep growing people have been growing up there for years!!

Do any of you guys have any experience with Female Seeds (the breeder)? They have strains that I think would be perfect for me and are very reasonable priced, but I don't want to go with them if they aren't any good. I took a gamble on genetics this year and I think it hurt me a little in the end.

i would go to the seed and strains form they should have sompthing about the seed bank just do a little research!

Look for some with S. African genetics...they can tolerate frosts, finish WAY earlier than most outdoor SATs, yeild nicely.

In fact, Durban Poison won 3rd place at the HT medical cup this last year...I would love a cut of that stuff...

I forgot to ask do you wnat a sativa dominated plant or indica. You have a better shot of growing indica in your climate but you can go for some 90% sativas that finish early. It all depends on your prefrance in smoke do you want a upity high or a knock out high. if you want a knock out high i would go with alaskin thunderfuck, or northern lights. If you want a nice party high upity wild go with durban posin or sweet purple you might have a harder time finishing them but it will be worth the smoke or you can go with a mix of straineds so no matter what you get smoke.

Anyone try Nepali grizzly? Thinking bout trying it next year, in Cananda too. Got northern lights and a couple other strains already, looking for a couple more.
