Light: ChloroBA C2 255w full spectrum LED
Atomic Enhancement: Alien Genetics 100% all natural atomically advanced rare earth elements
Nutrients: GH organic
Enviornment: 42" crawl space
Plants: 10 assorted of the kush variety, OG, PK and Master

Challange: pull over 1lb using one tiny little light, ten plants and some bizarre new alien nuitrients in a crawl space... I'm game :)

To bring everyone up to speed, the 10 plants came from a 1000w hps veg enviornment, I believe they are about 2 weeks old. In any event, I plan on vegging them out for a week or so in hopes of creating some new growth and tighter internode structure under this LED.

Got the clones 48 hours ago, they looked not so bad, not so great. Set up the light yesterday and dropped the 10 plants into a 4x4 scrog box, started the LST and have had the ChloroBA C2 on 24hour light cycle since (will switch that to 18/6 later today once I get the timer all set up).

All settled in and LST underway.

Will feed them the Alien Genetics (first of two treatments, once in Veg and once at the beginning of week 2 of flower according to the manufacturer). The Alien Genetics gets mixed 20:1 with water, there is no need to adjust PH apparently? I'll be honest this kinda scares me but another grower I know did a test run using AG and the results were awesome. So water and Alien Genetics it is tonight!

Who told you that light will produce over a LB?
Nobody told me anything about what to expect in terms of yield. I get minimum of a pound a light in my HPS grows, so... if LED is going to cut it for me the challenge is for this light to produce 1lb or its not worth my time... or yours ;)

lol... i don't know where to start with this. you're a newb, so try
to not make really bold statements like that, you will just end up
eating them later.

first off, how much wattage is that thing drawing at the plug?
notice i'm not asking you how much wattage the manufacturer
says it draws, or how much HPS light it is supposed to replace;
i am asking for how many watts at the plug.

you're getting minimum a pound a light from your HPS grows,
and how many watts are those using? saying a light "isn't worth
your time or ours" is a pretty bold statement, and lacks any real
reasoning or comparisons that are necessary to make such a
statement. for all we know, that light draws 150w. if it draws 150w,
you can expect to maybe yield 150g, if you got skillz. the thing
with LEDs is they typically draw only 100-200w, so you have to
have multiple fixtures if you want to see the same results yield wise.

if you're getting a pound from a 1kw light, how much energy is that
setup really using? you've got the light itself, which draws 1,000w.
then the ballast, which probably uses between 60w and 120w. then
the cooling system, and a 5,000 btu AC usually draws about 1,000w.
so if you're getting a pound from a 1kw light and using an AC, you're
only pulling 450 grams from about 2100w of light. i used to run 3000w
flower and the air conditioner for that grow drew more energy than the
combined wattage of all the LEDs in my last grow.

Light looks really nice, any idea what type of COBs those are installed in there? And like Indi asked whats the actual draw to the wall for that LED? Good luck on your grow already looks awesome !

If someone told you that light will replace a 1000 watt HPS or even a 600 watt HPS,they lied to you. It takes around 600 watts of quality LED to replace a 1000 watt HPS and that light is not quality. You may get a pound but that would be wet weight. Sorry if you were misled about this light but it's common for these light companies to out right lie and you need to do some serious research before you buy LED.

Any idea what type of LEDs that thing uses capt? Looks like it is a Chinese brand light to me but I haven't heard anything about these before. Design is pretty nice tho.

I've never seen a square Osram COB,if you look at the good suppliers Osram COBs are round like the Crees on a square board. My guess would be it's just a cheap multi-chip and they licensed some Osram tech that they use.

I think people have gotten AT600's for $1800 with discount codes.

1500 bucks is too much money for such a chinese led with only 255 watts. You almost can buy and construct your own light with 20 3070's cobs @50 watts.

@captainmorgen, its a chinese led made of 45mil chips of osram, I think. I know some chinese leds that are made of 45 mil bridgelux leds.
