Chlorine in tap for organics.

My tap comes out at 8 or 8.5. And 35 PPM.
Would this be okay for organics or would this kill my micro colony even if I aerate for 24 to 36 hours to release chlorine and chlromine

Most municipal water has chloramines, not chlorine. You can not get rid of chloramines by letting it sit for a day or 12.

If you are worried, get a RO filter.

yea its not gona evaporate, you have to filter but dam 35ppm tap water is pretty good. here in los angeles we get like 400ppm tap water, its all those extra vitamins and minerals they put in to make us happy and smart lol.

I would of already had a RO filter, just moved into a new place and am low on money right now:/
And yes te tap is very good so that's why i asked! And 400ppm wow never had it that high!
what's the best alternative other than RO, well, or rain water?

1.) I'm assuming any just normal bottled water, aye?

2.) I've read black strap molasses takes care of other things we don't want in our water? Anyone confirm that??
