Chemical Extraction of THC?

My plants are about 3 weeks away from harvesting.

I was thinking I would take all the bud, and the trim.. should be about 1.5-2.5 OZ dry... and make hash, and maybe some really strong THC tincture.

I was thinking of doing it this way:
1. Powder all plant matter in a blender
2. Disolve Plant matter in organic solvent such as Methanol, Colophorm, Ethanol, or Ether
3. Filter out Plant matter
4. Evaporate solvent
5. Scrape together THC crystals
6. Optional reconstitution of Crystals in Ethanol to make tincture

Will that work?

Will the resulting product be as good as bubblehash? Or possibly more pure?

How much do you think I could yield on 2 OZ of dried buds?

If anyone has any links to a procedure like this I would appreciate it.

Sorry for the huge delay, but I just joined this community.
Well I did a at home lab on this topic, Well here is my process.

I have recently aqqired some extermely fresh bud,(within 15min of harvest).Started with "25 micron" (the finer you can get it the better) ground bud (de-seeded)
Added 236.588ml of pure ethanol (and yes i do mean pure, not gas station s**t)
Put it into a 300ml boiling flash on a constantly turning shaft at a computer controlled 200°F for 2 hours
(the mixture cannot reach above 200°)
The vapors were condensed into a flask and the ehtanol was boiled off.
What you should be left with is a green powder mixed with some carbon.
If your an amazing chemist and have access to amazing and expensive machines you will already know how to do this.
But in the end I was lef with
"C42H60O6"
I tested the potenticy of the mixture because I tested the mixture for toxicity using a spectrograph.
It was the most intense fealing of euphoria mixed with the self-confidence of accually figuring out how to do this!

use Butane and make BHO, Way easier than trying to get all that ether and shit out...BHO is the shit, dabs for days

haha, I was just going to comment on how the OP is going to blow himself up, then saw your comment, I guess we're a bit late...

and powdering isn't needed or desirable when running bho, not two years ago and not today.
