These are a couple of pics of my babies. I have them in a i'd say 10 gallon pot with some soil that i've used in previous years to grow Tomatos's so i believe it was pretty depleated. I transplanted them out of there original pots, at the first sign of budding, and did away with there Brothers lol...
I originally just screwed a couple screws into the side of the pot with some fishing line tied to them. At the end of the fishing line i had some paper clips i had bent into U shaps with one end bent to tie the fishing line to. These where used to secure the branches as i bent them more towards the sides and across the pot. These worked well for awhile but eventually had to build the Bamboo X you see, as a frame to secure the branches to.
Just wantin a little bit of an outsiders perspective on how my babies are looking and what i might be able to expect out of them. I have a pocket Microscope, and will be lookin for the milky amber method with my scope to determine when is right, but they have been flowering for 50 days exactly.
Reason i chose this method is about 2 weeks ago i used some Safers Soap to get rid of a Green worm, and Aphid problem. This appeard to have work but left i'd say 90% of the hairs on the plaint burnt. I applied around 9 in the morning and was told by a good friend that is educated on the subject, that it was ok to do so.
Long Story short i pulled them outta the sun IMMEADIATLY and washed them off gently that night. They have responded well in 2 weeks and have grown back pretty well to replace what was so painfully lost. Any input is GREATLY APPRECIATED, and thanks in advance....jeangreen
