Check my roots

Hello all,

This is my first grow I'm in week 4 veg heading into flowering next week, I just removed my only male and pulled him this morning, I just wanted to post a picture of the roots and get any feedback or if there is anything a more advanced grower recognizes that i may not, over watering etc, the plant was in a 23cm pot that holds 6 liters it had grown 53cm tall before pull. I grow in a 1.2 x 1.2 m area with 6 plants (now 5) i maintain a 21 to 23celsius room. I was wondering should I be looking at upping my pot size before flowering stage or look at upping the pot size for the next grow to a 30cm pot?

That is very root bound and you needed a bigger pot a while ago.

I thought the same thing when I pulled, could you give recommendations on pot sizes for my growing conditions? Maybe some steps from here would be helpful?

Hope they bounce back quick! Those look like much more reasonably sized pots for those plants.
