Cheaper Nute List - Soil Grow?

I already have some plants going in a stealth box in my bedroom closet, but I have plans to make a hall closet into a "budding room" with an HPS light. I was wondering if someone could compile a list of nutes I should get for this setup; the basics. I cannot afford $100+ worth of nutes right now, so just the stuff that will get the job done effectively, but efficiently. If I forgot anything you need to know, just ask. Thanks!

hey red...

If you flower the plants early in there life.. with less than 6 nodes, pH your water, use a great SOIL.. like fox farm or black gold, you can get away with using some simple Shultz (liquid nutrients) that you can pick up for less than 10 dollars at any supermrket...

The soil will nearly provide more than adequate nutrients for plants that are flowered quickly.... and you can still get 3-4 ounces per plant no problem...

and although Miracle Grow has many bad SOILS.. there nutrients are very effective!

right now im trying to grow indoors with miracle gro indoor potting soil, and schultz liquid nute. I went straight from germ to 18oz party cups for 5 weeks as of tomorrow, 5 babies have been under approx 8000 total lumens of a flo/CFL mix. I only have a small area for a flowering room which i need to construct in the next few days. I have (2) 65w Flourex Floodlights and a 250W HPS plus quick access to a few small CFL's to use in this room. Here are my questions:

(1) When, and in what % mixture should i use the Schultz? veg, flower, all??
(2) which mixture of lights should i use for a flowering area that small?
(3) i want to use a small spare bathroom for flowering. As long as NO light gets in the bathroom, do i need to be AS worried about the light over the plants not being contained to 2x3 etc.... the bathroom is approx 7x9. I was thinking of putting it all in the tub/shower unit where there are 3 white plastic walls, then pulling the shower curtain closed. Light would still escape above but then so would the heat to be vented out the ceiling vent.
ANY help or recommendations would be more than appreciated.

if you are flowering early and using soil it is cheaper to use black strap molasses it has all the nutes you need for grow and bloom. Lots of expensive nutes are derived from molasses.
Heat water till it just starts to get little bubbles (not boiling) stir in 2 tbs of molasses let it dissolve add water to make one gallon cool and feed your babies. they will love it.
once a week add about 1/2 cup of h2o2 (hydrogen peroxide) strait to the plants it kills any bad stuff and feeds extra oxygen to the roots your plants will love it

Can anyone else verify using solely molasses? Also, I AM growing in soil, but not planning to flower early. Would molasses still be the way to go? Also, is molasses more beneficial to vegging or flowering? Thanks for the idea!

The good news is... this plant was grown using CFLs,miracle grow and cheap as schultz fertilizer... the water was phed every time and the plants were flowered at 14-15 days from seed...

you are on the way....
