hey red...
If you flower the plants early in there life.. with less than 6 nodes, pH your water, use a great SOIL.. like fox farm or black gold, you can get away with using some simple Shultz (liquid nutrients) that you can pick up for less than 10 dollars at any supermrket...
The soil will nearly provide more than adequate nutrients for plants that are flowered quickly.... and you can still get 3-4 ounces per plant no problem...
and although Miracle Grow has many bad SOILS.. there nutrients are very effective!

right now im trying to grow indoors with miracle gro indoor potting soil, and schultz liquid nute. I went straight from germ to 18oz party cups for 5 weeks as of tomorrow, 5 babies have been under approx 8000 total lumens of a flo/CFL mix. I only have a small area for a flowering room which i need to construct in the next few days. I have (2) 65w Flourex Floodlights and a 250W HPS plus quick access to a few small CFL's to use in this room. Here are my questions:
(1) When, and in what % mixture should i use the Schultz? veg, flower, all??
(2) which mixture of lights should i use for a flowering area that small?
(3) i want to use a small spare bathroom for flowering. As long as NO light gets in the bathroom, do i need to be AS worried about the light over the plants not being contained to 2x3 etc.... the bathroom is approx 7x9. I was thinking of putting it all in the tub/shower unit where there are 3 white plastic walls, then pulling the shower curtain closed. Light would still escape above but then so would the heat to be vented out the ceiling vent.
ANY help or recommendations would be more than appreciated.
