Cheap and easy to install lights

Hello everyone. Im setting up a small 3ftx5ft grow area for my first ever grow.

I just finished painting the walls white in the area and im looking to purchase some lights.

Im looking for some cheap but decent lights thats dont require any hassle, and that you dont need to wire(basically plug the thing in)

Im going to be growing 5 indica strain plants if this will help in telling me the light i need.

Any help would be good.

Im hoping to order some lights in the next day or so.

sadly moneys an issue i want to keep it under a 100 dollars.

I really recommend CFLs. No extra wiring, cheap to purchase cheap to run.

Your yield might not be as good as someone with a HPS light but it will certainly get you thru your first harvest. Lots of people have including myself have had good success with CFLs.

how many and how powerful do you think they would need to be.

i was looking at http://www.expresslightbulbs.com/grow-light-compact-fluorescent-clamp-on-fixture-p-211.html

would a few of those with the extra spent for higher watts be ok?

also how do i work out how many lumens they generate because i dont understand what they mean when they say they are equivalent to something with higher watts.

For example: 68 Watt Grow Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb 300W Equivalent

does that mean its putting out light equal to a 300w?

Equal to a 300W incandescent.
