changing your flowering time but keeping 12/12

iv been doing this probable a little to much for my own good or at least thats what some people think last couple of crops iv had to do that to because it got to much staying up all night and sleep all day but i cant say it stunted the plants at all so whats the myth behind this

I did it last year with Nevilles Haze and some bag seed Indica. From night to day. It had no negative effects at all. A one-time switch during growth isn't gonna stunt your plants. So I agree with your post.

i was under the impression that if the morning lights on time was changed that it would possibly stress the plant into being a hermie. no experience with this personally its only what i have read online. i run 730pm to 730am do most the work before 1030pm and a quick check before work to make sure the lights are the right height for stretch. rinse and repeat. i've found that looking at the plants constantly makes it harder to spot deficiencies.

I have never tried switching light cycles. I too was under the impression that it would stress the plants. I have mine going from 9pm to 9 am because electricity is cheaper at night and it adds to the stealth factor
