changing bulbs ???

Hi
Just wondered if anyone caould give me a quick bit of advice. I am about to change bulbs after growing on a 12 / 12 for 6 weeks with a blue grow light. Do I just swop the bulbs straight over or is there a resting period ??? and also do I then continue on 12/12 for a further 6 weeks ??

i have never heard of a blue grow light for flowering (vegging yes)... flowering plants use more of a red spectrum of light... is it an HID of some type? sounds strange to me

why are you changing your bulbs after only 6 weeks?

what do you mean by resting period??? like give your old bulbs a rest on the counter before you throw them out? or did the new bulbs have a long drive from the hydro and your want to let them rest before you give them some power??? or do you want to give your ballast a rest and not give your plants any light for a a couple days??? or you just want to give your ballast a couple hours to cool down before power up the new bulbs...... if it was any answer except the last one your answer is no

6 weeks + 6 weeks = 12 weeks of flowering... ewwwwwwwwww i have some Super Lemon Haze that has about the same flowering time..... i think its worth the wait though
