Change in Veg. Wattage

My veg room is currently running 3 x 1000W MH to light a 55 sq. ft plot of 60 plants as well as mothers off to the side.

The flowering room is running 6 x 1000W HPS over two 55 sq. ft. plots of 60 plants.

In order to keep the temp at about 75, my intake and exhaust fans are running almost constantly, and the air temp in the basement (where everything is being grown) has risen to about the same temp as inside each room.

I'm trying to find ways to bring cooler air into the rooms so that the temps drop quicker and the C02 being brought in can be better used, as well as running the fans less.

My thought is to change the veg. room lights to 400W each, and then get an air conditioner for the basement. The amperage being saved from the smaller bulbs/ballasts can be directed to the AC unit instead. Instead of pulling air from outside (as temps are rising outdoors), I would pull from the cold air in the basement.

Does anyone see any potential problems with this change? Most importantly, will the 400W bulbs in veg be producing enough light for the plants not to stretch?

Hey folks,

I've got a 60 EZ Cloner that worked great for the first 2 sessions. I'm using Cloning gel and 50% Clonex in the res. running 24/7. The last batch kicked up some pretty smelly fungus in the res. yellow/gray. Pretty sure I missed a few pieces of gear when cleaning between batches. My pH is jumping up big time in 8 hours...like two full points. 6.2-8.2. Been reading about h2o2 and EWC's but not sure on amount, concentration and application. Anyone got any numbers out there? the h2o2 i have is 29%, no EWC yet. Should I drain and and start fresh? How long can I leave clones sitting while cleaning out my Cloner the proper way?

Thanks, Ketzy
