Chances of success?

Hey everyone, I've browsed this forum all day and you guys seem like a ton of help. It's nice to see a forum where members are actually helpful.

Anyway, last week on a whim I threw some seeds into some potting soil and wet it down, just seeing what would happen. I've never attempted a grow before and I've never researched growing before. So now, I've got about 5-7 little plants poking out of the soil. I'd say 3 or 4 are 4 inches high with a small set of four leaves at the top. The rest vary in sizes smaller than four inches, with the same leaf arrangment.

They are watered regularly, and I take great care not to over-water.

Now my question, what are the chances of succesful grown assuming I'm able to separate male and female before it's too late?

Also, any advice?

Thank you. :joint:

Chances are good if you give them what they need. Go to FAQ getting started for more info.

Should I get them one plant per pot ASAP? Or do I have a little leway?

Here's a more detailed version of events... they are at my new place, which is around 60 miles away from my current location. My buddy is there taking care of them while I'm not there. Today I asked him to put them in their own pots, but he said they would be OK for now.... do I need to get on his ass about it?

edit: I've been reading the FAQs as much as I can, a lot of great info here guys.

edit2: We've just been using natural light so far to let them grow. They're in a window. Any advice on that front?
