I've got 6 growing right now--and I have 3 phenos and one mutant/possible indica pheno (it split to two main branches after the first true leaves, and consequently is half the height of the others on average. But, it's two main colas are the fattest by far and display the indica "club" type of growth.
The other 3 phenos go like this:
1. A branchy indica pheno that within 9 days of inducing flowering was already producing noticeable amounts of resin, and at day 31 (which I'm now) it's absolutely COVERED in sugar. This was flowered at around 18in and finished at about 42 so just a bit over doubling. The Branching on this plant is phenomenal, it has 8-10 solid branches that will make this one a very heavy yielder. The side branches rival the main branch in height. Bud formation is moderate between indica and sativa but leans a slightly towards indica
2. A moderately branching Sativa (4-5 suitable branches and a very tall main cola). I've got 3 plants that take this pheno. At day 31, trichome production is moderate to heavy so far however the size of the main cola is fantastic. The tallest of this pheno is around 48in (flowered ranging from 16-19in) and the top cola is filled for about 15-18in. This will be a moderate yielder, but the main cola formation is fantastic (but definitely "spear" formations noted in sativas).
3. The third is an annoying asshole. It was flowered at 18in and finished at 55in. Prior to flowering, it displayed the same growth patterns as the 2nd pheno. It's flowering is likely to take at least a week longer and, unless it bud formation picks up, will be a moderate/light yielder (maybe 1.5oz if I'm lucky). This is a very sativa plant, both in bud formation and growing tendencies (typical "pine tree" formation).
Growing notes: 35 days of veg under a 600w digital ballast with enhanced spectrum HPS. ~3gal buckets (slightly bigger). 1square meter. Light is in a cooltube reflector and it stays about 6in from the tops of the plants (besides the tall asshole, which I've had to tie to keep from growing into the light; the mutant is on a box to bring it up to the size of the other ones). Also, using foxfarm's nutes (big bloom, tiger bloom, and grow big) and Pro-mix potting soil (added some perlite).
