CFL's + trimming ?

hey guys i'm growing 2 plants with 1 CFL each, so far its looking really good (surprisingly). I was just wondering if i should trim off my big fan leaves ? i herd you can run into trouble by doing so..what is you're guys opinion ? I was wondering about this because i am using a limited amount of light, and maybe more light will let buds grow faster ? (i am into week 4 of budding, so far the main cola is looking nice) but the other lower buds are pretty small. Should i or should i not trim ? If so, how would i go about trimming the leafs ?

DO NOT TRIM

The leaves absorb essential light energy. If they are in the way, or blocking a bud, move it to one side.
Only chop minimal amounts during veg period, never in flowering as it stresses the plant at a vital time.

If anything, you should try LST (Low stress training) which invloves tying branches back gently, but this should only really be done during veg.
Have a look at my ww grow in my sig for examples of training a plant.

If you post some photos, people can help you more easily.

ok some mod needs to sticky this shit so no one ever asks again, your fan leaves are like solar panels for your plant, you remove the solar panels plant doesn't grow, try investing in a couple more lights for the side
