Cfls for flowering

So I know your supposed to use 2700k for flowering but if I had 6 spots for bulbes would it be better to do 4 65k and 2 2700k or the otherway around. I want to limit stretch and it's about 2 weeks
ide say into flowering so it's got tiny female preflower on most top nodes. Advice appreciated

i would go 4 2700 and 2 6500. The plants gonna atleast double in size no matter what lights you use. If there isnt enough red spectrum your gonna have less dense fluffy growth

So even if the 2700 are half the lumen output go with them instead?

how many plants, and how big are they now?

very tiny 12?12 from seed tech 3 1 snapped so thats kind shitted up.i have one the same size as that but way btter looking same height but healthier and the other one is 2 weeks older and grown in different soil all organic other 2 seed start maricle grow

just remember they should double in size during flower, you dont have enough lights for 3 of those.i would put 4 27K and 2 65k on the big one and get more lights for the others. good luck

Cool thank you it was what I was gonna do but I thought the 65s would help with extra leafgrowth which could help produce more sites. I also use he sun for a couple hours cause nothing beats the sun. I found someone selling a 150 watt for 75 bucks on craigslist but it's 3 hours away so idk and it's a 3 week old post and I dunno how to email people off it.

craigslist is a bitch, just write down the the whole email add. like sale-12345678@craigslist and go into your regular email and type it in. i have seen 250 hps new for 99.99 on the net.they even come with a shitty reflector.

yeah? thats amazing i thought i could do that so im gonna try that in a minute. listen i went out and purchase 4 cfls 1700 lumen 2700ks and they are heating my tote up i was useing the 4 1525 6500 ones and 2 800 lumen 2700 k minis and i switched 2 the 4 bigger 2700s and put 2 of the 6500ks in there.now my heat keeps going up, they feel alot hotter then the daylight ones.what can i do i have a hole with intake fan and a hole on the other side up top and it was at 82.2 constan and now its somewhere around 86.4 and prob climbing(found out yesterday when i put them in) im trying to get the computer fan i attachd to the hole to work but i dont know how to hook it up to a power supply(has only black and red little wires) have any help?

It's really easy to power those computer fans. Just find an old cell phone charger (12V is the usual for computer fans, so that's what you'd want the output on the charger to be for full speed) Just clip off the part that goes into the phone, strip the wires about an inch down and connect black to black and red to red, wrap them with some electric tape and whala! You've got a working fan!..

Switching to those new CFL's you have was a good idea! Those are the exact same one's I use. And I use 12 of them in my flower room. I know about your heat issues, TRUST ME, I've been there many a time on my first grow. And seriously the ONLY way to solve a heat problem is with more ventalation! That's it! Putting a frozen bottle of water or any of that nonsense is fucking worthless! Don't even waste your time trying, to solve your heat issues, there is only 1 way. And that's more airflow in and out of the box.

HAHA wanna know somehting funny. i had about 3 hours of light left before it went into darkness and i had to leave my house asap so my girl told me to put a packed bowl of snow in the box..so i did! maybe it worked for last night but im deff not trying to do that all of the time.im actually gonna go try that now..when i strip the charger are the wires balck and red in it?

that shit is clutch.im gonna see how well it cools me down right now it was at 82.2 climbed to 84.0 and i will monitor it and let you know more air then b4 is deff coming ut but not as much as i thought heh.

anyway what are your projects as of now?

Hahaha, that's funny man! Yea I've tried a few different crazy ideas like that! haha. W
When you strip the wire on the charger there should be either red and black, green and black, or white and black. but usually the black is always black.
Some actually have 2 black wires. And if you look close at them, one of the black wires will have a line on it or something other than just straight smooth black, and that would be your "colored" wire. Connect color to color, and black to black.

Nice so I'm taking it you got it all wired up and running then? 84 degrees isn't a bad number. I regularly have my rooms running right around there. Almost exactly 84 degrees actually. So if it stays there you should be golden bro! Keep me informed for sure tho!

I actually just harvested a plant about 2 weeks ago. 1 plant, LST'd, under 10 CFL's, I pulled 40G's dry off that plant. And that was after I had been smoking some of the buds for a week. If you wanna see that plant or grow/harvest pix or whatever they should be in the first link in my SIG.

Right now I have a Strawberry Cough, Lost Lacy, and 3 Bag Seeds growing. All LST'd. Going to veg untill the fill up the pot how I like, then toss them into the flower room and start some more seeds! That grow should be the second link in my SIG I believe.

So 1 project just finished and still curing (I smoke it anyways tho) lol
And 1 project currently under way, still in veg at the moment. Will be flowering within 2 weeks I do believe!.. Go check the links in my sig if your interested.

also, i started 12/12 so i dont think im looking towards much yeild, but i do put her in the sun everynow and then to cut back electric bills and to get the best of the best
