CFL wire

Hello, so this is my homemade reflector

Its not done yet, wiring hasnt been done, also hooks for chains isnt there yet.
I might be incorrect on namings of these wiring techniques.
Chain wire is easier, but i know intesity can be reduced, becouse resist from bulbs, dont know how much it would affect intesnity thought.
So anyway Paralel wire would be better.
Does paralel wire looks similar to this in my situation? Dont bother whats written there Vads = wire reflektors = reflector

BTW this setup will have 8 x 24w CFL`s
Hop it will be enough for one plant in 4 square foots.

Well, I've been up all night which probably explains it but I don't understand what your showing in the top diagram? Anyway your correct Parallel is better, and for more then one reason. Main thing to remember though is with series wiring you connect the phase (hot) to one side of say a bulb, and then to connect a second bulb you wire another phase that would touch the bulb on the other side. So electricity goes in through the first phase, through the bulb, then into the second. The obvious issue with that is if the bulb is broken then the electricity cannot flow through it and every bulb wired after the dead one will also appear dead. Anyway you seem to got it, but yeah that will be enough light and would pull less then 2 amperes(120v) so shouldn't be any electrical issues.

Im from Europe, so il be on 220~240 v

Hmmm. i think you didnt understand me and the painting also, dont know if that scheme is correct, but i mean, main cable with separated plus and minus goes around all bulbs, from each bulb comes wiring to main cable plus and minus, that should be parallel wire, right?
If i wire bulb to other bulb than its Chain wire or duno how to call it, and if one is dead, others are so, i knew that before, has happened with christmas lights :D
So maybe someone could paint parallel wire for this reflector, u can see it in painting and also picture.
And one more question, bulb`s plus and minus, where are they located? What is at the top of bolt and at sides of it?

Diagram wise I simply meant the top part that is just black lines. Your bottom diagram is correct for parallel wiring; or at least would be state side. As for the wires, the phase conductor should be connected to the screw that leads to the center of the socket and thus contacts the center of the bulb. The neutral would then be touching the outside spiral. At least I think that's what your asking?

(Chain wiring - Seriel/series wiring, unless you literally mean daisy chaining. )

Ok thanks, if the drawing is correct for parallel, il go for it, and yes about phase and neutral, that was the one i needed to know, Thx you helped me out :peace:
