CFL vs. LONG Fluorescent for vegging ??????

for vegging and as far as heat goes for a small space vegging room whats better watt for watt heat per watt?

cfls are more concentrated, both with heat and light. tubes run cooler because they disperse the heat over a bigger space watt for watt, but the same goes for the light-it gets more spread out. in other words if you put your hand over a 24 watt cfl it would feel way hotter than if you put your hand under a 4 inch part of a tube of the same watts. i dont know if this answers your question or not and i feel like a stoned rambling idiot so i'm going to stop now.
