cfl veg light.how close??

Hi all new to this just wondering how close should a cfl 125 watt be to a 1 week old baby.

I keep mine about 4" away from any leaves. Good luck with your grow man.

Yeah I would do 4-6 inches

As above states... and I might add, if your little plant starts to grow, keep a close eye, on distance...one inch a day of growth is very common... What is the temp 4-6" away from light? CFL's do put off heat, and you do not want it inside the hot zone around a lamp... GOOD LUCK!!
