CFL Soft White light

Hi everyone, this is my first post here, but i have been reading the forums for a few weeks now. I went to Home Depot, and they only had one kind of CFL in the 40 watt range, which was a 42 watt equivalent of a 150 watt bulb. The light bulb says it is a soft white bulb as opposed to a natural daylight bulb, and i was wondering if this would affect the growth of the plant. The soft white bulb looks yellow when turned on. Any comments would be appreciated.

Whats the make and model of teh bulb/fixture?

i think you should look for cool white.

The best one I saw for just a screw in type was made by Insignia. Its in the Blue packages. Its in the daylight spectrum. 100w equivalents go for 9 bux each and they run in the 5500k range.

wally mart sells 6500k daylight 3 bulbs for 10 bucks. 26 W each.
