thanks yo.

the light leak is mostly around the front face of the cabinet doors because it doesnt seal completely closed.. so i need some kind of flange or something inside to block the light

to seal up that door crack, get some balsa wood and make a flange with that and put some weather stripping on and you should be golden

don't have wallmart but ill go to a hardware store that sounds like a good idea. i'm thinking of taking the rails off the sides of the drawers because they don't want to slide in and out right without the back or bottom of the drawers in there.. then maybe i could just put some cabinet magnet things to hold it on?

just put velcro on both sides of the drawers and took the arms off of them and bought some 1 1/2 inch weather stripping that i'm gonna put on in a few hours.
also got hooks to hang the light but i need to find chain of some kind

i can kinda picture what you're sayin, but you should post a pic of what that looks like. i hang my lights with either the cord its on (only if its smaller lights and only two of them), or i use a thin rope, i think its clothes line, and put a running bowline in it so you can just since it up as time goes by. granted a chain would work really well, but i've never used it, and i dont have a solid ceiling in my grow room...

will post a pictures later on today.. first was with a cellphone cam i'm gonna try to get my sisters camera though.
i figured if i got fixture chain or something from a chandelier then it'd be easy to just go up or down a link or so whenever the light needed to be moved
but i'm wondering how long i could even veg for because the space isn't too tall i might have to light it from the sides eventually?

what are the inside dimensions roughly? the joys of CFL's is that you dont have to worry about them producing too much heat. that means you can stick them almost to the very top of your setup and be fine. but when they get that tall, you're definitely going to want to add lighting on the sides.

that sticky back velcro is handy stuff it sticks well to that white sheeting.i doubled the sheeting up to block light stuck velcro on it and thats my front door.

hi there sorry about gettng back to you id dont have no pictures just stick 1 part of the velcro on your cabinet and 1 on to the sheeting and stick them together.then when you want to open your door you just pull the sheeting off cause its stuck with velcro..something similar to them grow box doors?
hope im sounding ok cause im a bit high on some nice skunk :)
