CFL question

I have an overhead light with two long tube lights that put out 3000 lumens each, its 6000 K. I was thinking of putting some dome lamps clamped on the side of the plants but im afraid that the plant might gravitate to the side because light will be coming from the side and top, would this be beneficial or would you just leave the overhead light?

not sure what this light looks like, but if the light is balanced from the side, you should be good
as the plant grows, with cfl's you usually need extra light from the side, so this might work well
