Cfl Lumen to Watt Ratios

So Ive been doing a little research about cfl bulbs, and what Ive found is that the 23 watt bulbs with 1600 lumens have the highest lumen to watt ratio out of any cfl bulb I could find. It comes out to be about 69.57 lumens per watt. A few other bulbs Ive seen come close, I think I found one that had about 68.5 lumens per watt, but I havent found any that beat the 23 watters.

So this means that all the cfl growers would be better off using a bunch of 23 watters instead of the bigger bulbs if their looking for the most efficiency. If anyone can find a higher lumen per watt bulb, please post it here with the specs (lumens and watts) and where to find it.

Thanks!

yes, there are slight differences in cfl's and the 23 - 26 watt range is a little better than other cfl's but the differences just aren't enough to choose one bulb over another. over in the hps world, by contrast, the 600 watt light has 158 lumens per watt and no other light of any type comes close.

fyi

cfl 13 actual watts/60 equivalent: 850 lumens
cfl 26 actual watts/100 equivalent: 1,750 lumens
cfl 42 actual watts/150 equivalent: 2,750 lumens
cfl 68 actual watts/250 equivalent: 4,200 lumens
hps 150 watts: 16,000 lumens
hps 250 watts: 28,000 lumens
hps 400 watts: 55,000 lumens
hps 600 watts: 95,000 lumens
hps 1000 watts: 145,000 lumens

GE Biax 57 watt puts out 4300 Lumens, making it 75.4 lumens per watt. It also comes in a 70 watt version that puts out 5200 Lumens or 74.2 lumens per watt. They aren't screw in though. They have a 4 pin base so it is a bit more work to get everything running
