CFL ligting advise needed.

hi,

i am vegging now with 2x150W blue CFL 24/0 .


planing to use HPS for flowering.. 10/14

or shall i go for 2x125W red cfl.. 12/12


which is better? any inputs?

How many plants? Pros and cons using HPS vs. CFLs for flowering, but I think you'll find most of the people here use the HPS light. I use CFLs for vegging, combined with a metal halide.

5 plants

its my first grow so i used (nirvana) reguler seeds.. lookin at 2 female plants for flowerin..

if i am lucky..

well it depends on your set up would you be able to control the heat from a hps? and wat watt hps are u thinking of using?

thought of 2x150w hps.. but even then, heat is going to be a problam.. i got wooden box.. i can't risk. i have to go for 2x 125w cfl.. or may go for 2x250w cfl...

bigger the better ah? ( really... ah?)

personalyy i would go for 2 250w clfs as this will increase yeild over 2 125w cfls

Yeah, more light equals more bud production... see if you can post some pics. If you're in a confined space you might have to stick to CFLs.
