- Hello, I just joined so I hope this is a good place to get some help. I'm currently growing with CFLs 300 Watts total in coco. I just entered the flowering stage and I'm exactly one week in and there 3 foot 6 inches. Everything has been going great for a first time grow. But I have ran into a problem. I have to travel for work, and will be gone for a total of two weeks. I have no one that can look after them. There growing so fast at this point I'm afraid with no one to raise the CFLs they will grown into the light. I believe I have read that the farthest you can raise the lights is 8 inches? I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or solutions.
