Yo yo yo new to growing, not new to life, so don't be a dick.

My buddy and I took a spare dog cage...

H: 30.50 in
D: 28.25 in
W: 43 in

... and wrapped the entire inside of the frame with Reflectix. (Yeah I know mylar is better but Ive grown with it before and loved it.)
Then we zip-tied the sheets of Reflectix reeeal snug, but not super tight, to the cage. This gave us nice flat reflective walls in a strong metal frame. Then we just foil taped every hole we saw from the zip ties, loose ends, cracks etc.

Let me tell you, it looks pretty. Right now our seeds are germing, and we plan on growing anywhere from 3-6 females. fingers crossed.

As far as growing, we are starting at the rear corners (43 in apart), and growing towards the middle. This will make them share more light as the get larger. As they get larger, we will add a couple CFLs more towards the middle, etc.

AS OF RIGHT NOW STARTING OFF I have this in mind:

On each side- 3 half gallon pots under 4 100w 1,600L 5,000K = 6400L per 3 Seedlings / 12800L Total box

As they get older, I will add a few 6500k here and there, but I'm not trying to EXPLODE my grow box by overdoing it with too much full spectrum. PLUS the fact that 6500k are fucking HOT. I'm well aware that 6500k are ideal, but we are trying to be safe in a small area. I will probably only allow my box to veg at around 15,000 total lumens in the end.

So when they are about 3-4 nodes tall and sexy enough to flower, I will replace the box almost completely with 2700k, remove ALL 5,000k, and leave 2 maybe 3 6,500k. In my flowering stage I wish to kick the total lumens to anywhere close to 40,000, SAFELY.

What do you guys think?
