its made for the purpose of house insulation so it will have to fullfill some laws, flame retardant at least.

guess its PIR?

take care that your Vapour barrier is 100% when growing there.
the boards are aluminun covered? you used aluminium tape?
may use plaster boards also and paint them with some Steam-inhibiting paint, or use some woodfibre cell boards on top who can absorb and distrubute some moisture, many ways to avoid moisture creepin in to your roof.

well ok,"new roof end of summer", you can not really get any problems there then.
do what you want.
normally one want it vapor proof inside and a more and more vapor open the more it goes to the outer sie.
anyway, the guys who will do your roof will know better then me.

any material ment for house insulation should be safe to use, even salt treatet paper like cellulose.
many vids.
PIR

kingspan is a big number with quality material, btw. as you get a new roof, you really bought PIR to use for a few months only?? expensive stuff.

There is no flame resistent insulation foam on the market. Rockwool or glass wool is fine but the plastic things will always burn. Even if they incorporate flame retardents it wont do much. Maybe delays the fire by a minute but makes the smoke much more toxic.
In 10 years, after many more houses have burned down there might be something new. Just google a bit and you will find reports of quickly spreading fires in your area.
