CDM 315W Noise / high pitched sound

Hi! I bought a new 315W CDM kit and its very bright and nice, however there is a high pitched noise that goes straight into my brain.
It goes like up and down sorta.
Fans and stuff I can live with but this one is very annoying.

Is this normal or should I return it? Anyone else having this "issue"?

New, I would want it replaced. Or... Return for refund if they do not take care of problem.

thanks, but do you know if it´s the actual ballast or lamp? Mine sits together with the reflector.

I suspect it's the ballast. But I guess it's possible the bulb or connections could be causing it.

Hopefully some ballast gurus will chime in.

What brand and model of ballast and lamp are you using?
