CBD From Hemp Seeds and Stems ?

If this is true it may be a mistake to use your valuable grow space to grow MM plants with high CBD levels

“Michigan Hemp Company’s CBD-heavy products are not derived from marijuana and therefore are not restricted by the Court of Appeals decision in Carruthers, or by the Controlled Substances Act.” Brown cites Kentucky’s legalization of industrial hemp- but not marijuana- as a proof of the difference between the two plants. A US Court of Appeals decision from 2004 also exempts hemp from marijuana’s illegality. Hemp products can be used by anyone, anytime.
Hemp’s naturally occurring CBD is taken from the seed and stem of a specific cultivar of the plant. Consumer benefits include: promoting overall wellness, relieving everyday stress and anxiety, and supporting muscle relief. “These products provide overwhelming evidence of significant health and wellness benefits,” Brown said.

From my understanding, THC is needed to activate the CBDs. THC is like the key that turns the CBDs on (the body in this case being the motor). But, like I said, this is the only my understanding of it and what I have read. I would guess that more studies are needed to confirm this. It does not take much THC, hence why Harlequin works so well.

... forgot, hemp does contain THC, very little, but still, that might be all it takes. :)
