Carpet growing

So My Parents Grow organic Vegetables and My mother has started to use old Wool carpet on the garden and it seems to work wonders.

So I got to thinking this would work with my Garden too?
This is an article no how to do it.
Saves on weeds, water, pests, etc..
Defiantly trying this next season when I prepare the plot.
Just wish I had thought of it pre planting this season.

looks sketchy

I did it years ago.It does work,till you you try to take it up to till the ground.Then it falls apart in little pieces and you have to pick it out of the garden.OPH
