carbon filter

i have a question to ask for a friend of mine,
can u have a carbon filter after the fan so its being blown thru or shud it b in front so its geting sucked thru. thanx:bigjoint:

I push through mine and put the prefilters before. My first DIY design lasted 9 months with very little activated carbon. The one I just built to replace it works great. You can do it either way, pushing or pulling, but pulling is preferred. I would do it that way if my setup allowed
