Carbon Filter 400 CFM and speed controller

I have a WindTunnel 6 inch 409 CFM in a 4x4 6.5 tent. I have not bought a carbon filter yet and my question is if I have a speed controller turn 50% maybe 75% way down im i going to have smell problem lets say with a htg can 33 carbon filter with Max Airflow: 400 cfm?

No you should not. You have 96 sq. feet and a 400 cfm fan. you want to exchange the air every 2 to 4 minutes.

Make sure you have a fan variable speed controller and not one for overhead paddle fans. They are only .5 amps or at best 1.5 amps. It will burn your fan out. Get the right one.
