I was wondering what is the peak air temp at canopy with cobs. For a while i was using a ir gun to check my temps were holding 75 in the canopy then i checked it with my regular thermometer and it was 80-82 air temp, 76 below the canopy.
I read this post from blackdog that since leds dont have ir that you can actually keep the temps closer to 85 room temp and it's like hps at 75 room temp with a leaf temp of 80. Idk if thats true probably just hype.
Has anyone noticed they can up the temp higher with leds?
Anyone go by leaf surface temp?
