Yea I got some seeds from a couple different companies and were real light colors and sprouted.Well i harvest one of my plants early cuz of bud rot and i was using it for seeds. The seeds are hard to the squeeze but they are pale in color looking more of a tan. I see people say they have to be dark grey for them to germinate is this true?
You want them ideally ripe and ready yes one thing to note is just like the markings or sometimes the lack of them on seeds they vary in colour a bit because of genetics as well some stuff is naturally darker or lighter it just depends let them dry out a few weeks before trying to germ any of em tooWell i harvest one of my plants early cuz of bud rot and i was using it for seeds. The seeds are hard to the squeeze but they are pale in color looking more of a tan. Yeah let em dry n harden up for a few weeks then you can try emhow long should i dry for 2 weeks?
I've heard that a million times and I've been breeding for a long time now and usually I don't pull my seed crops until I see a volunteer or two in my pots. So I never do anything special beyond just the basic air dry my pot got. I do not put them through my freeze dryer.Yeah let em dry n harden up for a few weeks then you can try em
I just mean leave em sat to air dry nothing fancy like you said when there ripe and ready some will fall out tooI've heard that a million times and I've been breeding for a long time now and usually I don't pull my seed crops until I see a volunteer or two in my pots. Yeah for me drying was only necessary to separate them from the plant. Mine hardened on the plant. Then again I tend to procrastinate on chopping lolI just mean leave em sat to air dry nothing fancy like you said when there ripe and ready some will fall out too
Not a bad thing with seeds giving em that bit extra time though worst case you just hash it or use it for edibles if it goes too far gone for smoking if it's too over cookedYeah for me drying was only necessary to separate them from the plant. I was afraid of pulling my seed crops too early. Not a bad thing with seeds giving em that bit extra time though worst case you just hash it or use it for edibles if it goes too far gone for smoking if it's too over cooked
