@ least 10 stiks of none salted butter I would use stems & all also note the less butter the more potency & simmer over low heat for 4 to 24 hrs.

i have sugar leaves from two small plants. The bud from these two plants was exactly three ounces. Any idea how much butter to use for the sugar leaves?

Typically you use 1 ounce per lb of butter, that's 4 sticks or 2 cups. So for 3 ounces you could go 3 lbs of butter but i'd go 2lbs. If you just want to get your ass kicked, use as much as you can get wet in 1 lb of butter.

I've used up to a pound of trim with a pound of butter. When I did the 1:1 ratio, I experimented using water in the batch to keep the plant matter submerged and had mixed results. I personally wont use water anymore but if you slowly mix the plant in with the butter, over time you can fit everything. The way to go with the butter is double boiling.

when your trying to figure out how much butter to leaf ratio youll need you should also consider what your mainly going to use the butter for and how potent your going to want it to be.
