hey,

I am into my 5th week of 12/12, been using canna boost since buds appeared, with lack of funds cant get any more, ran out yesterday..

A friend has told me boost is simply this "mollasses" (not sure if thats correct spellin) and you can get this from a vitamin shop in town, he says it is in a tar like mixture.. You have to take a table spoon of it, mix it with boiling water, then add this mixture to feed as you would do with the boost..

Any ideas people, is he talking out of his XXX???

Thanks in advance for any tips, peace!bongsmilie

Mollasses will work fine as a substitute for canna boost as long as its soil you are growing in. DO NOT USE IN HYDRO WILL SLIME UP ROOTS AND CHOKE YOUR PLANTS PLUS IT WILL INVITE PESTS INTO YOUR RESIVOIR. Other than that just use 1tbsp per gallon of water

from what Ive read mollasses also doesnt activate as usable to the plant right when you add it. The compound has to be broken down into usable elements for the plant. Basically if your plant is almost done I wouldnt bother with the mollasses it wont have any real effect on the plant. The hot water will help break down the mollasses some but your micro biology in your soil will do most of the work.

I use a Tbs per 40L in my hydro flood-drain and it hasn't done me any harm. There was a big debate on here a while back it is worth looking up. It does different things depending on the substrate.
