Hey I just bought a 85w red floodlight and was wondering if combined with 2 26w and 2 13w cfl's if this would be good to flower if the temp stays constant has anyone ever tried it and if so let me know the details.

Hey 42, it's not the color, it's the spectrum (there is a difference). Flowering plants need that specific, sun-colored orange warmth and I don't think combining a red flood with your cfls is gonna cut it, you'd probably be better off investing in more natural daylight spectrum lights rather than messing around with colored floods IMHO but I am eager to see what everyone else thinks. It will be an interesting experiment, keep us posted!

Get HPS for flowering or at least get more fluros. The flood light wont work ,maybe you could put it out front of the house and sell your ass to earn some extra pocket money .

No a red flood light will not work. You need red spectrum light also, depending on what kind of bulb is in the flood light it will be very difficult to control the heat and still have the light close enough for the lumens to penetrate your canopy. The only thing it will do is make your grow room hot as shit.
