can you clone before knowing the sex?

i have a plant growing from Coco and i would like to flower it but im afraid its going to be a male... so i thought that if i cloned before it knew it own sex mabe i could trick the clone in to females... if not what can i do to make my plant more likely a female... thanks for the help!!!!!

Taking a clone, and flowering the clone is how a lot of people find out the sex... It's absolutely fine.

if the plants a male the clone gonna be a male you cant trick it to turn female. buy fem seeds or grow more then one plants to have a higher chance of getting a female.
